Pat Caurant
Trish and I are in Michigan this week visiting family. I've been out of touch by email and phone, and just heard the news today that my friend, fellow educator, and former teammate, Pat Caurant was involved in a car accident and is currently in a coma. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Here is a link to the website with up-dates and a guestbook.

Came upon your blog as I was doing an update on Pat's condition. Sad indeed . Hope your travels are safe. Good to know you are still cycling and teaching. See you out there sometime in the future.

When I first heard of Pat's accident - I didn't have a lot of details so I just googled his name. Your site came up with a link to the hospital website - and I added your site to my favorites as a link to it. So... whenever I would check Pat's update I would start out at your website. I am the person that mentioned his students dressing up like him at Halloween - and I noticed you had mentioned that in your entry - so I felt a connection and have left your site in my favorites - your picutes of Pat have been a comfort and bit hard to take - but I'm so thankful they are there. So.....welcome to my favorites - I check in from time to time.
